The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    The Libraries for Children and Young Adults Section cordially invites interested individuals to join them in Zagreb, Croatia for their midyear meeting 25 to 29 March.
     
    Activities include:
    ·      Trip to Slovenia to visit the Public Library Janez Vajkard Valvasor Krško
    ·      Attendance at the Croatian Children's Library Conference
    ·      Business meetings with C&YA members to discuss promoting quality library services for youth
    ·      Tour of the National and University Library
    ·      Trip to the city of Rijeka and tour of the Rijeka City Library
