2023 Call for Speakers - Leaning International Session at ALA Annual

The International Connections Committee of the International Relations Round Table at American Library Association will once again organize "Leaning International: Notes From the Field" at the ALA Annual Conference held in Chicago in June 2023.

How have libraries adjusted to the new endemic COVID world? This program is for information professionals in all stages of their careers who are interested in working internationally. In this program, American librarians discuss their unique international experiences through prepared topics and audience Q & As.

We are looking for speakers who have experience in going from the US to other countries as well as international librarians currently working in the US who could share their experiences. Speakers from diverse library types and lived experiences are welcome.
