    Greetings from VICLIS 2022, Virtual International Conference on Library and Information Science (VICLIS 2022) organized by the SLTC Research University of Sri Lanka, for the 2nd consecutive year,  in collaboration with,

    • IFLA Regional Division Committee for Asia and Oceana (IFLA RDC-AO)
    • American Library Association-International Relations Office (ALA – IRO)
    • Hellenic Open University, Greece
    • University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy
    • Faculty of Economics and Business, Zagreb, Croatia
    • The National Science Foundation (NSF) of Sri Lanka
    • National Library of Sri Lanka
    • Sri Lanka Library Association (SLLA)

                                                             Libraries as Drivers for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2030

                                                                                                                        on the 25th of October 2022 

    We are pleased to inform you that the VICLIS 2022 is now open to submit Abstracts, Extended Abstracts, and Thematic Posters on the following sub-themes,  but not necessarily limited to

    • Building Resilience through People, Information, and Technology in Post-Pandemic.
    • Library Programs Advancing the UN2030 Agenda.
    • Digital Spaces, Digital Transformation & Digital Cultural Heritage in Libraries.
    • Role of Libraries in Open Science Landscape and Data Curation.
    • Inspiring Innovations and promoting social inclusion and access to information for people with special needs.
    • Continuing Professional Development and Fostering Lifelong Learning.
    • Digital Platforms: Fostering Creativity and Sustainability and Networking.
    • Library Spaces: Inspiring Innovations and Promoting Inclusion and Access to Information.
    • LIS Education and Cross-country Collaboration: Developing Globally Competent Professionals.
    • Environment, Sustainability, and Green Libraries.

    • Submission of Abstracts, Ext. Abstracts & Posters Deadline: 26 September 2022

     

    • Decision Notification:05 October 2022

     

    • Camera- Ready Copy & Video Recorded Presentation: 12 October 2022
