The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    Join us in the ALA Members Community on ALA Connect on September 28th for an "Ask Me Anything about ALA" Conversation with ALA President Emily Drabinski. Login into ALA Connect on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. CT / noon MT / 11 a.m. PT for an opportunity to ask Emily Drabinski about anything, and everything ALA. President Drabinski would like to hear from you about what members need from the American Library Association right now.

    Emily Drabinski's bio: Emily Drabinski is an Associate Professor at the Queens College Graduate School of Library and Information Studies and President of the American Library Association. She edits Gender and Sexuality in Information Studies, a book series from Library Juice Press/Litwin Books.

    What do I need to do to participate? Login into the ALA Members Community on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. CT / noon MT / 11 a.m. PT.

    How can I participate before September 28th? You can participate in two ways prior to September 28th:

This discussion thread will remain open until Friday, September 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. CST. At 1:00 p.m. CST, the discussion thread will be closed until September 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. CT / noon MT / 11 a.m. PT.
