The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    Are you passionate about the future of library education? Do you have thoughts or ideas on how library education could be better? Do you want to connect with other library professionals that are interested in this important topic? Then we want YOU to join the Librarian Education Reform Discussion Group! We meet on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss issues related to librarian education, including diversity in the library profession, accreditation, alternate pathways to librarianship, and other related topics.
