The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    You are invited to join the PPIRS Professional Development Committee for the second in a two-part webinar series on finding and using international social science datasets, this one focused on IPUMS International. Jennifer Huck will cover what IPUMS International is, details you need to know, how to download data, and how to import IPUMS data into R. The session will be recorded and learning materials made available after the workshop. Jennifer Huck is the Data Librarian at the University of Virginia Library.
