The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    Dear IRRT Members,

    You are invited to attend the IRRT All-Committee meeting that will take place on Friday, June 25 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 pm CDT (https://www.eventscribe.net/2021/ALA-Annual/fsPopup.asp?Mode=presInfo&PresentationID=910902&query=IRRT), immediately after the Chair's Program "Libraries in a Rapidly Changing World: Working Toward Access and Equity." I will present (10-15 minutes) on some highlights of the work of committees from the beginning of the pandemic until today. Richard Sapon-White, IRRT Chair at the start of the pandemic (2019-2020), and Jim Neal, the incoming IRRT Chair (2021-2022), will speak afterwards. The rest of the meeting will be dedicated to you, the IRRT members. We want to hear from you about yourself , your library and your country.

    Although the meeting is part of the ALA Conference, all IRRT members are invited to attend - you don't have to be registered for the ALA conference.
    We hope you will be able to attend the meeting and celebrate the IRRT and its members.
