The mission of the International Relations Round Table is to promote interest in library issues and librarianship worldwide; to help coordinate international activities within ALA, serving as a liaison between the International Relations Committee and those members of the Association interested in international relations; to develop programs and activities which further the international objectives of ALA; and to provide hospitality and information to visitors from abroad.

    I am pleased to announce that there will be an IRRT membership meeting on Wednesday, January 19, at 1:00-2:30 pm Eastern US time. All IRRT members are invited to participate. Details about how to register and join the meeting, and the agenda will be distributed later. 

    The focus will be on sharing information about the activities and projects of IRRT, with brief reports from members and committee chairs. Also opportunities for members to share information about developments in their libraries around the US and the world.

    IRRT Committee Chairs:  you are requested to submit to Delin Guerra (dguerra@ala.org) at ALA a brief written six-month report on the work of your committee.  Thanks!!

    A reminder about our all member IRRT meeting on 
    January 19 at 1 pm eastern US time. Delin will send 
    out information about the Zoom connection. All 
    committee chairs are requested to submit a brief 
    six month update report to Delin. Please let me know
    if you want to speak at this meeting or if there are  
    topics you want to cover. Officers and committee 
    chairs will report briefly. We are particularly 
    interested in hearing about library developments 
    in your organization, state or country. Thanks for 
    your participation and for contributing to our
