    On April 27, 2023, OCLC installed changes to WorldCat Validation, including the following new features, enhancements, and bug fixes:

    ·       New features and enhancements:

    §  OCLC-MARC Validations of New MARC Codes Announced January 25, 2023-April 11, 2023

    ·       Bug fixes:

    §  Correction of Validation for Bibliographic Field 535

    §  Correction of Validation for Bibliographic Field 851

    These features and enhancements are the result of announcements of new MARC elements and codes by the Library of Congress as well as feedback and requests from members of the OCLC cooperative.
