  • 1.  Registering for Online Only Access??

    Hi colleagues!  I sure hope someone can set me straight.  I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but I've searched everywhere I can think of.  I'm one of those who will not be in attendance in person in January.  I know that it was decided we would still need to register for the full digital experience to do that.  But I'm trying to do that, and nowhere in the registration process is it giving an option to choose in person or digital.  If that's just how it is, fine, I guess, but how will ALA know how many people to expect in person?

    I'm especially interested in getting this figured out before the price goes way up on Dec. 1.

    I'm not attending in person either. Also,
    Have the registration links for council sessions been shared yet? I haven't seen anything

    Dear Heather,

    After signing in through this link: https://shibboleth.compusystems.com/alaannual.php you'll be taken to the personal information page. After clicking Continue you'll be taken to the Demographic Information page, after making your selections click Continue to be taken to the Registration Category page which is where you will select in person or online. Screenshot below.

     

     

    You can then proceed through to payment.  If there are any other questions related to registration, please feel free to contact Conference Services at confs@ala.org

     

    As for the Zoom webinar registration links for Council meetings, those have not yet been distributed. We will let Council know when they are made available.

    I experienced trouble registering for LLX Digital myself, and the screenshot Sheryl shared was not what displayed for me, unfortunately. I ended up registering for the in-person version by mistake. Contacting the conference registration support listed in the registration confirmation email was easy. In just a few hours, they changed my registration to LLX Digital.

    FYI in case this happens to anyone else.
