Renate Behrens (RSC Chair) and the rest of the RDA Steering Committee are pleased to invite observers to the Public Session of the RSC Meeting on 16 April 2024 (online).

There are two proposals under discussion at this meeting.
RSC/ORDAC/2024/1 -- [Proposal on] Dual-language naming of Corporate Body and Place, published on the RSC website and announced on 4 March 2024. Links to the proposal and its responses are listed on the RSC website and on page 4 of the agenda.
RSC/TechnicalWG/2024/1 -- Proposal to revise the element hierarchy for appellations of work groups, published on the RSC website and announced on 7 March 2024. Links to the proposal and its responses are listed on the RSC website and on page 4 of the agenda.
There will also be the usual verbal updates from ALA Digital Reference and from our Working Groups, Regional Representatives, Wider Community Engagement Officer and Education and Orientation Officer.
The meeting is expected to last for two hours on 16 April 2024, 9-11pm Central European Summer Time (There is a handy time converter to other time zones here).

We will be sending out joining instructions by 15 April, and again for late registrants on 16 April 2024. A video / audio recording of the Zoom meeting will not be available. However, written minutes will be published as soon as possible after 29 April.
