    Dear ALA Council members:
    The ALA Committee on Accreditation (CoA) would like to share the CoA-approved revision to the ALA Standards for Accreditation of Master's Programs in Library and Information Studies for Council consideration for adoption at the 2023 ALA Annual Conference. The proposed Standards revision document can be found at https://www.ala.org/aboutala/revision-2015-ala-standards-accreditation-master%E2%80%99s-programs-library-and-information-studies and using the "The proposed revision is available here [Word] Standards revision for Council" link to download the file.

    The standards revision process and the scope of the revision are covered within the proposed Standards.
