Dear all

As the online meeting of the RDA Board takes place this week, we have filed our latest news with them (RSC/Chair/2025/17), and, since it contains no business confidential information, we are happy to be able to share it on our website and with stable URI in ALAIR.

In particular, we are happy to highlight three appointments:

• Dr Robert L. Maxwell as Chair Elect (2026) and thereafter RSC Chair (2027-2030) and Past Chair (2031)
• Dr Getaneh Alemu as Wider Community Engagement Officer (WCEO) Elect (September-December 2025) and thereafter WCEO (2026-2027 with possibility of a second term)
• Dr Filiberto Felipe Martinez Arellano as RSC Representative for Latin America and the Caribbean (July 2025-June 2027 with possibility of a second term)

RSC/Chair/2025/17 also contains a summary of proposals and fast track proposals that have been approved and / or implemented since our last report in May and links to outreach (presentations and articles) as well as other news.
