    The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library is hiring a Digital Collections & Metadata Specialist to oversee digital projects that originate from the Mansfield Library's Archives and Special Collections (ASC). Specifically, the individual in this position oversees the digitization of ASC materials in a variety of formats; creates item and collection metadata using appropriate schema; and ensures digital materials are optimally accessible, including to those using assistive technologies. To accomplish their responsibilities, the Digital Collections and Metadata Specialist will collaborate with and work across multiple library functional units including Archives and Special Collections, Digital Initiatives, Bibliographic Management, and Systems.
