    Tomorrow is a special day in Washington, DC - and no, we're not talking about the State of the Union address. Tomorrow is ALA's #FundLibraries Congressional Fly-In, where librarians and library advocates from across the country will meet with their members of Congress to educate them on crucial federal library funding.

    The Fly-In is an important part of our annual #FundLibraries campaign - and this year we will have a crucial grassroots component. So watch your inbox tomorrow for an important opportunity to take action and back up these librarians on Capitol Hill!

    With the State of the Union address, a possible government shutdown, and all of the usual Washington chaos, it will be an exciting time for library advocates to be on Capitol Hill! With your help, we can make progress on securing the federal funding that libraries nationwide depend on.
