We need more congressional support to ensure library funding Hi Aaron! This is Kevin from ALA, with some good news and bad news. The good news is that our campaign for library funding is picking up momentum - over 3000 library advocates have taken action and dozens of Reps and Senators have signed on. The bad news is, we have a new deadline to get support in the House - and it's just a couple days away. This coming Monday is our last chance to get our Reps to sign the Dear Appropriator letters in support of library funding. So if you haven't yet, please click here now to add your voice: This is quite a tight deadline - I haven't seen Congress move this quickly since heading to the TV cameras after the State of the Union. But that's why it's all the more important that we mobilize over this weekend and early next week to secure crucial support for our funding priorities. So please, if you can, write to your members, share this action with your community, and stay tuned for future updates. Thank you for everything you do for libraries!
