I'm sharing this draft resolution honoring Dr. Donna Gilton who passed away recently. Dr. Gilton was a longtime ALA and BCALA member and taught at the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Rhode Island for over 20 years. She was a deeply committed champion for diversity in librarianship and a mentor to many of us who were fortunate enough to have her as an instructor at URI.
