    Dear Councilors,

A stellar intellectual freedom advocate, Candy Morgan, passed away on December 16th. My condolences to friends and family of Candy Morgan. I have drafted an ALA memorial resolution honoring Candy and her work fighting for intellectual freedom and serving on numerous ALA committees. My thanks to Sam Helmick for seconding the resolution.

Will be sending it to the ALA Resolutions Committee on January 8th, next Monday.
