    Dear ALA Colleagues,

I am pleased to share that the ALA Election Committee met and certified the 2023 ALA Election Results today, April 12, 2023.

The ALA membership voted on the 2024-2025 ALA President, Councilor-at-Large, and the ALA bylaws revision.

Cindy Hohl will be your 2024-2025 ALA President.

Councilor at Large results can be accessed on the ALA Election Webpage. Both PDFs are available in alphabetical order and count order.

93.8% of ALA membership voted in favor to adopt the ALA Bylaws Revision.

A complete list of the ALA Election Results (includes Divisions and Round Tables) will be available at the end of today in the ALA Election Information Website: https://www.ala.org/aboutala/governance/alaelection

As a member-led organization, we are only as strong as our members and the commitment shown by all candidates demonstrates we are in good hands for the future. Thank you to all those who stood for election and many congratulations to our elected member leaders.

Many thanks to you, too, Brian, for leading the ByLaws committee with attention to detail, good humor, and a willingness to answer hard questions.

    And +1 to Lessa's leadership.

    Best,
