ALA members born between 1965 and 1978 are the "next generation" of library leaders--indeed, many of us have started to take on leadership positions within the association. However, the majority of the leadership development buzz is focused on younger members. This group will provide those of us who are members of the comparatively small generation sandwiched between the Boomers and the Millennials with a place to network and discuss issues related to the unique position we are in professionally, and to discuss ways that we can use our growing influence and creative ideas to change ALA for the better.
And yes, people born before 1965 and after 1978 are welcome to participate, too.
