Dear Councilors: Although we are sharing these lists of public and academic libraries invited to participate in the 2010 Salary Survey, they are chosen in a random, stratified sample run by the Office for Research and Statistics. We also mask individual salaries, particularly for directors in states where there are few libraries of a size or type.
