    Hello everyone, my name is Sharaya Olmeda, I'm a Counselor at Large and a member of the LGBTQIA+ Taskforce. The Taskforce is currently in the process of gathering contact information for state association representatives to collect information about what processes they have in place to protect LGBTQIA+ library workers, or if any process or system exists. Our goal is to create a full picture of how/why/if LGBTQIA+ library workers are subject to retaliatory employment practices based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expressionThe task force will create an informed, actionable communications plan to be presented to ALA's executive board at ALA Annual, in June 2024. Any information or contacts you're willing to share would be greatly appreciated.
