    Good morning,
I have been working with a group of librarians and colleagues who have worked closely with Bernie Margolis since the mid-eighties to draft a resolution in his memory.  I would like to give others an opportunity to add to the document before I submit it to the resolution committee on Friday June 15th.

Here is a link to the draft Google Document, which includes a link to his obituary - https://tinyurl.com/ycvg4q7j
This only scratches the surface of his contributions to the library community.

I have also attached a version in word.

Please feel free to edit (or suggest) the Google Doc or to send me additions and suggestions.
    Thank you,
Jen Ferriss, New York State Chapter Councilor

Would it be possible to recognize Bernie's service to other libraries?  He was  director of the Monroe County Library and the Woodlands Cooperative here in Michigan as well as director of the Pikes Peak Library District.

    Jennifer,

Jennifer, This is a wonderful resolution which captures and conveys the spirit of Bernie Margolis, his strong passion for libraries and his generous spirit.  Thank you and Lauren for making this possible.  Bernie was such a great Council member and he has helped so many so this is a great tribute to him and his work.  Pat Hogan, Councilor for the Smaller Roundtables
