Dear Friends,
Thank you for bringing these important questions as you a make decision on whether or not to attend Annual Conference in Washington D.C.
Recently, the ALA Executive Board approved a pilot to hold the first-ever hybrid ALA Council Meeting during Annual Conference June 2022.
We understand that some of you are unable to attend in person so we will try our best to accommodate those Councilors participating virtually. Since this is a pilot, we as a body need to rethink meeting rules and how we utilize technology. A new set of meeting rules for a hybrid environment will be drafted - more information to come.
For those that can attend in person, I am so excited to re-connect with you! You'll see in the coming months we will have a GREAT line-up of speakers and programs. You won't want to miss it! To register for ALA Annual Conference, click here.

Subject: ALA Annual Washington DC and hybrid forum for Council
I believe that ALA will be a face-to-face meeting this June in Washington DC. For health reasons, I believe I still will not have permission to do air travel at that time. Will we have an option to do Council with a hybrid forum?
