ALA Council

Just wanted to give you all the heads up because the publicity will be going out today in Maine – I have accepted the position of Maine State Librarian and will start there on 1/3/23.  My last day at the NH State Library will be 12/22/22.

I want to express my gratitude to all of our current and past ALA councilors that I have had the pleasure to work with and learn from over the past four years.  Given my job change, I will not be able to keep the councilor position, and NH Library Association will be appointing someone to fill in for most of 2023 until the next NHLA officer's election in Fall 2023.  

I truly appreciate the knowledge, wisdom, and kindness that I have experienced with this group of dedicated library professionals.  My best to you all as you navigate the governance questions coming up at LibLearnX and Annual.
