    Resolutions


    All members are urged to submit a resolution or resolutions prior to the Annual Conference or Midwinter Council meetings by communicating the resolution to the chair of Resolutions Committee through electronic mail." (The resolution guidelines are also available at http://www.ala.org/aboutala/governance/council/resolution_guidelines


    Please forward your proposed resolution(s) to Irene Briggs, chair, ALA Resolutions Committee, alaresolutions@ala.org.


    The Resolutions Committee table is located in the ALA Office Area, Table #12, McCormick Place Convention Center, Level 3, Hall A1.  The committee’s table schedule is attached as ALA CD#3.1.


    ALA Parliamentarian Eli Mina will also be available at the Resolutions Table (as his schedule permits) to help with any questions you may have regarding parliamentary procedures.


    ALA Council COC and PBA Elections


    The ALA Council will elect four (4) Council candidates to serve one-year terms on the ALA 2013-2014 Committee on Committees, chaired by 2013-2014 President-Elect Courtney L. Young.


    The ALA Council will also elect three (3) Chapter Councilors, and three (3) Councilors-at-Large representatives to serve on the ALA Planning and Budget Assembly.


    Balloting begins Sunday, June 30, 5:30pm to 7:30pm (MCP, S100C) and continues to Monday, July 1, 8:30am to 1:30pm (MCP, S100C).


    Attendance at Council Meetings


    All councilors are expected to attend each of the scheduled meetings.  If you are unable to attend, please notify me in writing of your absence.  Failure to do so will result in an unexcused absence, which is noted on your official voting record.

    I can't seem to get to the documents for ALA Council for the 2013 ALA Annual Conference.  Am I missing a step?

    I checked the minutes documents and they were for annual 2012 council meetings not 2013 midwinter council meeting

    I can't seem to find CD# 3.1 here-- the Resolutions Table schedule.  Am I missing something, or is it in fact not here?
