ACRL Government Relations Committee

Hi Everyone. 

Happy late August and welcome/ welcome back to the ACRL Government Relations Committee! Thank you all so much for volunteering.

I plan to follow a similar schedule to last year with monthly committee meetings for discussion and an additional (optional) monthly work meeting where we can co-work, chat witheachother if we have questions, etc.

Please respond to this When2Meet poll for the week of September 14th for our first meeting. Please respond by Thursday 8/27 . I would like to get a time selected so that people can get this on their schedule by the end of next week.

At this meeting we will:

1. Discuss meeting schedules and format
2. Discuss the planned work schedule for the year
3. Establish shared working documents and resources
4. Discuss and assign topics for inclusion in the proposed legislative agenda.

Please message me if you have any questions or you would like to discuss anything related to the committee. My messages are open.

Additionally,( and we can discuss this more at the meeting) if you don't get a response from me right away please feel free to send me an email (nancy.calabrese@marist.edu). This board will be our official channel for communication, but I know that messages through the board can get lost sometimes.
