  • 1.  VPAT use in Japan? (I already know the answer)

    Hello everyone,

I'm getting a bit of pushback to our VPAT request from a Japanese publisher.  They want to know if other Japanese companies provide VPATs for their American institutional customers. I have not personally managed to get a VPAT from the handful of Japanese publishers/vendors that I have contacted, but maybe someone else out there has accomplished this?   I'd love to be able to respond with at least a couple of company names.

    Thanks, and apologies for cross-posting.

    Hi Leigh,

I share your pain! The closest I have come to getting a VPAT from a Japanese publisher is this Web Accessibility Policy from NetAdvance.

Good luck and please keep us posted if you are successful.
