Are you interested in European Studies or are you currently in charge of collection development in European Studies? Then consider volunteering to serve on of the
committees of the ACRL European Studies Section (ESS).
Please visit http://www.ala.org/acrl/membership/volunteer/volunteer for a link to the form (Internet Explorer is the preferred browser for accessing the form). The deadline to volunteer is February 12, 2021, for appointments that begin July 1, 2021.
If you're already a member of an ESS committee and your appointment ends in 2021 -- you'll need to do two things if you want to continue serving.
1) Be sure that your ALA/ACRL/ESS membership is up to date; and
2) Fill out a committee volunteer form for ESS (see above).
If you aren't sure when your appointment expires, check the ACRL/ESS committee rosters at: http://www.ala.org/acrl/aboutacrl/directoryofleadership/sections/ess/acr-essec
Please also consider volunteering to serve as a Chair or Co-Chair for an ESS committee.
