    Using Sysrev for evidence synthesis screening and data extraction


    Presenters: Sarah Young and Melanie Gainey, Carnegie Mellon University Libraries


    Sysrev is a collaborative online platform that facilitates the screening and data extraction steps of evidence synthesis projects. It has features similar to other such platforms, like Covidence and Rayyan, but provides a more flexible interface for diverse literature and document review workflows, as well as data export features that comprehensively capture screening and data extraction decisions. It also has a built-in large language model auto-labeling feature that makes the incorporation of generative AI applications possible without the need for coding or programming. In this session, we'll provide an overview of Sysrev and discuss how we have implemented a campus-wide enterprise license for Sysrev at Carnegie Mellon University.
