We're hoping you can help us! The ANSS Nominating Committee is still seeking a candidate for Vice Chair/Chair-Elect for our 2026 elections, with a September 12th deadline approaching.
ACRL staff have emphasized how important it is for sections to have candidates for leadership roles to maintain their standing. We're counting on our community to help ensure ANSS continues to thrive.
The Vice Chair/Chair-Elect position is a 3-year commitment (2026-2029) that offers:
- Tremendous professional development opportunities
- The chance to help lead our vibrant community of social sciences librarians
- Valuable networking and leadership experience
- A meaningful way to give back to the profession
Position responsibilities are outlined in the ANSS Manual for Officers, Chairs, and Committee Members.
