Hello, Grad Librarians!  As the ALA/ACRL representative to the IFLA Science & Technology Libraries Section, I am happy to share with you an upcoming professional development webinar we are sponsoring because I think the content could be very valuable for grad students.  On Wednesday, December 15th from 3:00-4:00pm PST, Tom Morrell (Caltech Library Research Data Specialist) will present "The Carpentries & Author Carpentry."  This event is free, and registration is required.  For more information about this webinar and to register, please visit IFLA

This webinar will provide a brief introduction to The Carpentries instructional philosophy of researcher-to-researcher computational training. We'll then discuss Author Carpentry, an independent set of modules that can be integrated into a Carpentries Workshops or taught as an independent curriculum.
