  • 1.  Tracking Support for ES projects

    Posted Mar 02, 2023 08:49 AM

    Hi All,

At my university we are beginning work on creating a more robust tracking form (for internal use) on how our librarians are supporting Evidence Synthesis projects with Graduate Students and faculty.  As you know, support is often over a long stretch of time (often many months) or sometimes more brief, depending on the amount of support the project team is looking for. And involves many different types of support throughout the process.  Would anyone be willing to share their tracking process/form or comment on how you track support for this kind of work at your institution/organization?

    Much appreciated,

    Colleen

Brock University is located on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement. This territory is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging this reminds us that our standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.

We use a modified version of University of Michigan's Airtable for this. They did a talk about how they use Airtable that is recorded and available at https://guides.lib.umich.edu/TaubmanTalks/AirtableSR
