    Hi, ACRL AI discussion folks!

I think Triveni has posted the upcoming ACRL ANSS conference previously on our board so please consider this to be a signal boost - - tomorrow, Thursday, April 30th, at 4pm eastern, the ACRL Anthropology and Sociology Section (ANSS) will be hosting their online conference, with the theme Exploring the Social and Ethical Implications of AI: Considerations for Academic Librarians.

Dr. Lee LaFleur, Brian Quinn, and I will be presenting on different facets of AI ethics, facilitated by Dr. Emera Bridger Wilson - - Lee and Brian will be sharing great presentations on AI citation models and general ethical considerations.  And, for the folks who joined our monthly discussion yesterday, and wanted to hear a bit more about human-centered AI, I'll be presenting a short overview of a human-centered AI action plan for libraries, and I'd love if you could join the conversation!

Registration details and more at ANSS' page here: ANSSWeb - The official website of the Anthropology and Sociology Section for the Association of College Research Libraries

And, huge shoutout to Triveni Kuchi and the conference committee for organizing!

    Warmly,

    Heather
