Dear Colleagues,
We are conducting a study on the use of information sessions to recruit librarians for open positions. We define an information session as an opportunity for potential applicants to learn more about the position, the university, the library, and the location, as well as ask questions. The research questions we want to answer include: (1) The extent to which information sessions are prevalent in recruiting librarians for open positions and (2) The relative success of the information sessions for recruiting librarians for open positions.
We invite you to respond to our survey if you have worked at an institution that has hosted information sessions, you have heard of information sessions for recruiting librarians, or you have attended an information session for an open position. The survey will close on March 25, 2024.

The survey should not take you more than 5-10 minutes to complete and includes mostly multiple-choice questions.
