Stacks & Space Supervisor position

    Hi All
    we have a vacancy for a Stacks & Space supervisor. This is not a librarian position, but recently I have found that new LMIS graduates are applying for similar positions in our library. It is a good introductory position for someone who is recently graduated and looking for experience. Someone in the position will gain experience in working at the Library Help Desk, supervising and project management. 

    Santa Clara University Library is seeking someone who likes to work independently, has a strong customer focus and is enthusiastic about organizing. We need a new library stacks supervisor.  They will maintain the library's open stacks with the help of student workers. The position also staffs the library Help Desk on a daily basis. The Stacks and Space Supervisor will have a knowledge of physical ADA requirements and be interested in wayfinding. Helping patrons to navigate the library and find what they need is what this position is all about. 


    The University Library is a collaborative workplace. The successful candidate will join a diverse and dynamic team committed to advancing academic excellence rooted in Jesuit values of social justice and care for the whole person. 

    The workdays are Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Apply on the University website. The priority review date is Monday September 29th.
