    We are looking for someone to join the ACRL History Librarians Interest Group's leadership team beginning in July 2023. The Interest Group needs an Incoming Convener for a three-year term (Incoming Convener/Convener/Past Convener). This is a great professional development opportunity for someone looking to work with other academic history librarians (subject liaisons, archivists, digital scholarship librarians, and more). Join a small leadership team working to develop programs and to facilitate discussions relevant to your fellow history librarians.

    My name is Kevin McDowell and I am the subject specialist for History and Japanese Studies at the University of Oregon.  I am considering the possibility of applying for the position of Convener for the History Librarians Interest Group but I would like to know more about what that would entail.
