Hi Kondwani,
How you approach this depends on what database you search. For example, if you search PubMed for pharmacy in the affiliation field, you will get publications from anyone belonging to a college, dept, etc. of pharmacy. This will not include corporations or other organizations that don't have pharmacy in the name. It's difficult to search by the PharmD credential only. There is a lot of articles using this search and you may want to limit to a topic or type of research study.
If you wanted research about pharmacists doing research then I would try "Pharmacists"[Majr] AND research as the search. I would not try by the potential subject of pharmacy research as you proposed. There are many different types of clinicians that also research on pharmacy topics (medical doctors, nurse practitioners, etc) and as stated before, it can be difficult to limit to those having pharmacy degrees.
Good luck and I'm happy to answer more questions,
