    The ACRL Technical Services Interest Group (TSIG) is seeking short presentation proposals for an upcoming virtual ALA Annual pre-conference event to be held in June 2026.
     
    We welcome presentations related to current developments, projects, workflows, experimentation, professional development initiatives, and emerging practices in library technical services and metadata work, including cataloging, metadata, acquisitions, AI applications, linked data, systems, digital collections, and related areas.
    Presentations may include practical projects, case studies, demos, works in progress, lessons learned, or emerging ideas.  We encourage practitioners interested in sharing their experiences, projects, and initiatives with the broader technical services community.
     
     Presentations should be approximately 10-20 minutes in length.
    The virtual event will be approximately 60 minutes and will feature several short presentations followed by discussion and Q&A. 
        Potential presentation areas might include:
        -Metadata and cataloging workflows
        -AI tools and experimentation in technical services
        -Linked data and authority work
        -Digital collections and metadata remediation
        -Open-source tools for cataloging and metadata work
        -Professional development and training initiatives
        -Works in progress and emerging ideas
        -RDA implementation
        -Cataloging and metadata work with multilingual and non-English language materials
