    Hello!

As Jylisa mentioned in her previous post, we are serving as co-convenors of the ANSS Anthropology Librarians Discussion Group this year. We have several engaging and practical opportunities in mind for this group but want to learn more about what you're interested in as we get started with a new academic year. Conversation is still a little slow over in our original discussion post, so we are re-posting our set of questions here to help increase visibility. If you would like to share, please join us in the ANSS Discussion Group and https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/connect.ala.org/acrl/discussion/framing-this-conversation__;!!JYXjzlvb!geu4lRSFW5YOQgArr5aZnHcqxoFw0tbDiRtnl2F2OGZk08i3DxfqMA3nIwoQSMq5sUUU1nkb8a7jchs1rQWLdv8$. Please reply, either to the discussion or privately, with answers to the following:

    • What types of events interest you most? (e.g. asynchronous discussion threads, synchronous virtual meet-ups, presentations from experts in our discipline, etc.)?
    • What topics are you interested in learning more about or discussing as part of the Anthropology Librarians Discussion Group?
    • What is one aspect of your job that you're really excited about this year?
    • What is the best thing you've seen, listened to, or read in the last year?

For those posting publicly, please feel free to reply to earlier posts if one of our colleagues comes up with a brilliant event or topic, you want to reiterate an exciting aspect of the job, or if you just want to highlight someone's excellent taste in media.   We have gotten the conversation started. See our reply for our answers to the last two prompts.

Let us know if you have any questions!

    Best,

    Grace and Jylisa
