    Hi everyone!

The ACRL Evidence Synthesis Methods Interest Group is trying something new for journal club this year based on responses to a survey earlier this year. ACRL ES events are open to all and you do not need to be an ACRL member to attend or participate.

We are planning a series of presentations of case studies followed by a discussion. Specifically, about in-process or completed reviews that were particularly challenging from the librarian or search perspective.

We are seeking 3 presenters who would be willing to share a short 10-minute talk about a review they have worked on, including: the topic, how it started, what were the challenges, how the challenges were handled/managed, and how it all turned out in the end. All cases are welcome, not only those with a successful outcome. You can choose to present with slides, by showing before and after search strategies, or without accompanying materials.

This session will be held on Thursday, October 27th at 10 am Pacific Time, via Zoom and will not be recorded. We hope these case studies will inspire and assist librarians who may be dealing with challenging or complex reviews by providing examples of strategies that may be used.

If you are interested in presenting, please fill out this brief form by Friday October 14th, 2022:  https://forms.gle/7vDjXvGcKJRrqBe86

    Thanks,
    Zahra
    (on behalf of ACRL ESM-IG)
