On behalf of the Office of Public Policy and Advocacy and the Office of Chapter Relations, we're delighted to re-introduce the Chapter Advocacy Exchange. The Chapter Advocacy Exchange is an opportunity for chapter members involved in library advocacy to share and discuss best practices, updates, and resources.
Our next Chapter Advocacy Exchange will take place Wednesday, October 9, at 3:00 PM Eastern/12:00 PM Pacific. The exchange will start with a presentation by Cody Croan, chair of Legislative Committee of the Missouri Library Association. Following the presentation, we'll open the floor for Q&A session, then an open-format discussion. Attendance by members and chairs of advocacy, legislative, and intellectual freedom committees of ALA Chapters is encouraged, as well as chapter members interested in learning more about chapter advocacy.
We encourage attendance by ALA Chapter Executive Directors and Presidents, including those from ACRL state and regional chapters.
