    Please see the announcement below from Jon Martin, Program Manager at ALA's Chapter Relations Office. Even though parts of the Forum will be specific to ALA chapters, many of the topics the Forum will cover, from membership growth and DEI board management, to running conferences and financial stability, should be of interest to ACRL chapters, too. The Forum will also have a significant focus on advocacy in the current national political climate, again a topic of importance to ACRL chapters.

    To Chapter Leaders:

    The Chapter Relations Committee and Chapter Relations Office are pleased to announce the return of the Chapter Leaders Forum at ALA Annual in Chicago, IL.

    The full-day Forum will be held Friday, June 23, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM CDT. The Chapter Leaders Forum provides a great opportunity for you, as Chapter Leaders (especially incoming leaders) to meet with each other and discuss topics of interest. The Forum provides a full agenda on a variety of topics to help prepare you to lead your association. Lunch is included.

    Please share this message with all chapter leaders, including board members, chairs, presidents, councilors and executive directors. 

    It is a ticketed event, so please make sure you register for it. The cost is $90.

    Remember, the advance registration deadline for ALA Annual is Friday, March 31.
