    Please join us at the Leadership Council and Membership Meeting and contribute to ACRL's success in advancing the Plan for Excellence. We invite you to join us for the virtual ACRL Leadership Council & Membership Meeting, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Pacific | 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Mountain | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Central | 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Eastern. This meeting is open to all ACRL members, so please do feel free to share the meeting details with others in ACRL.

    Please register if you would like to participate! We want to accommodate as many members as possible. Because the Zoom room is limited to 300 participants, we ask that you only register if you plan to attend. A recording of the updates portion will be sent to all invitees following the meeting.

    Your leadership and membership in ACRL are essential to the work of our member-engaged organization. Your contributions in committees, sections, interest groups, chapters, and discussion groups, and as representatives and liaisons, help make ACRL the premier higher education association for over 8,000 academic libraries and library workers. ACRL's responsiveness to the current and future needs of our members arises from your leadership, and your input on strategic issues facing the association is needed now more than ever.

    During this year's Leadership Council & Membership Meeting, we will seek input on our five goal area committees (GAC): Value of Academic Libraries, Student Learning and Information Literacy, Research and Scholarly Environment, New Roles and Changing Landscapes, and our newest GAC, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. We will hear updates from our two tasks forces, the Awards Process Implementation Task Force and the Member Accommodation/Compensation Task Force, and we hope to be able to have a conversation with our section leaders. Your participation will be instrumental in guiding the work ahead and in meeting the needs and values of all our members.
