    Greetings LIS Colleagues!

We, Drs. Vanessa Irvin and Bharat Mehra, hope that this email finds you having a great day.

We are making a Call for Book Chapters to feature in a book we are publishing with Emerald Group, tentatively titled "Reading" Workplace Dynamics: A Renewed Professional Ethos in Public Librarianship, to be published in 2024 as part of Emerald's Advances in Librarianship book series.

Here is our flyer announcement that describes the scope and goals of the book.

If you are a public library scholar or practitioner and have a story you want to share about the ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted your work in public libraries, we'd love to read your vision to consider as a chapter for this book.

Abstracts are due by March 21, 2023.

Feel free to share with your social networks.
Feel free to email irvinv22@ecu.edu and bmehra@ua.edu if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
Vanessa Irvin (East Carolina University) and Bharat Mehra (University of Alabama)
