The ACRL Board approved the current Standards for Distance and Online Learning Library Services (DOLS Standards) in February 2023. The Standards were revised by the DOLS Standards Committee and are intended for anyone providing services to distance and online learning communities. The document provides a means to foster cross-departmental communication, improve advocacy, and offer a roadmap for strategic planning.
