  • 1.  PRISMA is currently down

    Posted Feb 28, 2023 10:05 AM

All links for the PRIMSA website are down; I noticed this starting last week. I reached out to the Equator Network and received the following reply:

    Many thanks for your email.

I'm afraid that both the CONSORT and PRISMA websites are currently unavailable and as we link to the checklists on both websites our links are also down at the moment.

It would be best to advise your library users to access the checklists directly from the original published paper.

A small number are available via the GoodReports website:

CONSORT checklist for reporting a randomised trial https://www.goodreports.org/reporting-checklists/consort/

PRISMA Checklist for reporting a systematic review (with or without a meta-analysis) https://www.goodreports.org/reporting-checklists/prisma/

Checklist for reporting a protocol of a systematic review and meta analysis https://www.goodreports.org/reporting-checklists/prisma-p/

Checklist for reporting an a randomised trial of a social or psychological intervention https://www.goodreports.org/reporting-checklists/consort-spi/

No word on when they might be back up, though? That's disappointing.

    Elle,

Unfortunately, there was no information given regarding when PRISMA might be back up.  At least now you get to a message "The site is currently undergoing maintenance.  Thank you for your patience" instead of a 404 error page when going to http://prisma-statement.org/.  Equator Network has the information I gave to the listserv 2 days ago - https://www.equator-network.org/reporting-guidelines/prisma/.
