  • 1.  Poster from ACRL NEC (Northeast Chapter) Conference--of interest!

    Hello!

We have a very active Northeast chapter of ACRL and today was the conference. I attended a session with two co-presenters who had a great user experience project with multilingual students from the library. It was called, "Snapshot of the Library Needs of MultiLingual First Generation College Students." I told the authors I would share it here. I hope you find it as interesting and helpful as I did!

Here is a link to their LibGuide for the poster: James P. Adams Library: Snapshot of the Academic Library Needs: Welcome!

    Hi Kathryn and everyone.

Thanks for posting this! I was one of the co presenters from RI college.

I added the poster to our guide: https://library.ric.edu/snapshot

Our population at RI College is unique in that they are not primarily international students - but rather domestic students who have completed some or all of their education in the U.S. but were born in another country and speak at least one other language on a daily basis.

I would love to connect with others on how they are meeting the academic library needs of ESL / Multilingual Learners.
