     Dear colleagues--
Can you please share the following call for interviews with your sections?  I am a PhD student at Dominican University and hope you can help me to share my call with your ACRL community as my study targets academic libraries.  I tried to post the following call through the ALA-ACRL listserv, but for some reason, it did not go through for four days. I hope you can help me and share the following call with your ACRL section.

Please let me know if you have any advice.

    Thank you

    Dear all,

I would like to invite you to participate in a semi-structured interview for my study titled "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Library Data Policy: A Grounded Assessment of Privacy." This research explores how academic library decision-makers consider user data privacy in the context of AI tool adoption in their library. Your participation will greatly contribute to the successful completion of my doctoral dissertation.

    Interview Details:
    • Duration: Approximately takes 30-40 minutes via ZOOM.
    • Focus: The impact of library user privacy policies on the decision to adopt AI tools in academic libraries
    • Confidentiality: Your participation will remain anonymous, and all data will be securely stored and anonymized.
    •
You are eligible to participate in the interview if
    • You are 18 years of age or older
    • You are employed in an academic library in the United States (definition)
    • You hold a decision-making position, such as library director, director of libraries, university librarian, head of a library, associate dean, manager of academic libraries, or another role involving significant decision-making responsibilities (definition
    • Your library plans to implement or has already implemented AI tools for its users.
Your insights could contribute to understanding academic libraries' decision-making process and inform future practices.
If interested or require more information, please contact me at Lhusseinmoustafa@my.dom.edu . Also, feel free to share this invitation with colleagues who might be interested in participating.

Please share the attached invitation with members of ARL and ACRL your position and connections can help me reach out to these members effectively.

    Thank you for your consideration.
