    I'm excited to share the first in a series of four blog posts that have come out of the OCLC Research Library Partnership's work on AI and metadata workflows.

     

    In this first post, learn how metadata teams are weighing the potential of AI to address cataloging backlogs and enhance primary cataloging workflows in our latest Hanging Together post, Backlogs and beyond: AI in primary cataloging workflows. The article considers both the opportunities and challenges of introducing AI while preserving the expertise and judgment of human catalogers.
